A few months ago, I picked up an accordion fold insert for my Traveler’s notebook. At the time, I wasn’t sure how I would use it. All I knew was that I had seen these accordion-style books and thought they looked cool.
Towards the end of 2025, I had the idea to use it for an illustrated year-in-review timeline. Happily, there were 13 usable pages, and the format would lend itself perfectly to the visual timeline I visualised.
So while on holidays over the New Year break, I got to work. I’m really happy with how it turned out:

I really enjoyed the challenge of figuring out the most important things from each month, and how to lay them out in a way that flowed across pages. It was very satisfying to finish!
