The Little WordPress.com Zine

Behind the scenes of these limited-edition zines.

WordPress zine spread featuring a timeline and profile of women in creative work

I’ve been making personal zines for years. I love making and giving out these little booklets of joy.

Recently, an opportunity presented itself to make a zine for work.

The idea came to me when I was at my hotel after a long day at an event. I was looking through the postcards and stickers in my attendee bag. I found them pretty uninspiring, and wished they could be more fun. You know what is fun? Zines!

So I started building a physical WordPress.com zine. This zine celebrates the creators and businesses on our platform with something that brings a little offline joy into people’s lives. Something interactive and engaging, personal and human.

The zine includes customer stories, WordPress-themed activities, and some Easter eggs. I made it especially for WordCamp US 2026 in Phoenix, for inclusion in every attendee bag. Hopefully, there will also be a version available for digital download soon.

I feel so creatively fulfilled that I get to bring one of my personal passions to my work, and to share it with others. I hope people like it! If you’re lucky enough to be at WordCamp US and get a copy, let me know what you think.
