Recently, I sat down with Nathan Wrigley for the WP Builds podcast to talk about one of my favourite topics: human creativity in the age of AI.
I met Nathan at WordCamp Asia in Mumbai earlier this year, where I gave him a copy of my Human Creativity in the Age of AI zine. I guess it was a conversation-starter, because after reading it, he invited me onto the podcast.
We talked about my practice-based approach to exploring AI, the uniquely human parts of creativity that technology can’t easily replace, and how my perspective has changed as I’ve experimented more deeply with AI tools.
Those experiments include the I Am Not a Robot project, in which my colleague Jamie Marsland challenged me to make a film and a plugin with AI. That experience helped me think about the role AI plays in the creative process.
I had a great time chatting with Nathan. If you’d like to listen to the episode, find the link for your podcast player on the episode page.
